Howard Chadwick Funeral Service has been proudly serving Wallingford area since 1991.
Howard Chadwick Funeral Service was originally founded in 1991. Howard, his wife Sandra and nephew Alistair Cox had been working in various areas of the funeral profession and opened their own funeral service in the Wallingford Area. In the beginning funeral arrangements were made either by home visits or at Howard & Sandra’s home.
We took over the Wallingford Cemetery Chapel and it was dedicated and opened for use in July 1994 then in 2008 we moved to our new premises in Benson Lane which was formerly the site of the old French Gardens. It was purpose built and designed by ourselves.
In 2001 Neil (Alistair’s Father) joined the team at Clockhouse Cottage, Ryan joined in 2014 and Ashley (Alistair’s twin Brother) in 2017. In 2024, Alistair’s son Thomas joined the team, and Howard Chadwick Funeral Service became part of Funeral Partners Ltd.
We take pride in everything we do. Our aim is that everyone who works for Funeral Partners shares our values.
Our business exists to help the bereaved to make fitting arrangements for their loved one’s last journey and to provide lasting memories for family and friends. We do this with a positive, caring and understanding approach.
